Finance Manager (part time: 3-4 days/week)

Monterosa is a content and technology company, the UK’s leader in 2-Screen TV. We combine BAFTA award-winning creative production with a technology platform that enables robust delivery and monetisation of 2-Screen content.
Our online and mobile games are integral to some of the biggest TV shows such as Red or Black and The Million Pound Drop, breaking records for audience participation and winning awards for innovation.
We now have an opportunity for a part-time (3-4 days/week) Finance Manager to join our team of 20 based in our newly fitted-out offices in Hatton Wall, Clerkenwell. The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining the financial Records of Monterosa and providing financial information as required by the Managing Director and Finance Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of sales and purchase invoices
- Management of debtors and creditors
- Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Monthly reconciliation of control accounts
- Expense claims and credit card management
- Payroll management (in FD’s absence)
- Timesheet management
- Preparation of weekly cash-flows
- Support FD with monthly management accounts
Key requirements:
- Competent with Sage 50
- Aware of tax issues related to expenses, payment in kind, freelancers etc
- Able to work to agreed timeframes, accurately and independently
- Preferably, experienced in accounting for projects
- Knowledge of payroll is an advantage
- Tidy in work methodology and in filing accounting records
- Sociable, friendly and a team player
- Interested in the business of Monterosa, and in TV entertainment and social networking
