Monterosa is the UK’s leader in 2-Screen Social TV; television that is created for the socially-connected era.

Monterosa’s innovative content & technology brings television and connected audiences together opening up a world of new creative and revenue-generating opportunities for broadcasters, producers and brands.

We pride ourselves on the high levels of engagement we generate by converting passive viewers to active participants. Working with our partners we create and power next-generation active, social TV content such as Endemol’s Million Pound Drop and New Look Style The Nation.

Our robust, proprietary cloud platform is the preferred live 2-Screen solution for many of the UK’s broadcasters. The platform enables producers to engage with hundreds of thousands of simultaneously connected people in live and pre-recorded TV shows. Built for broadcast environments, our technology provides all the tools needed to create and manage 2-Screen TV shows and brand campaigns, including a unique data aggregation capability that feeds back near-instant audience statistics into the studio or on-screen graphics.

Current clients include ITV, Channel 4, UKTV, Endemol & Mother.

Our unique creative approach to 2-Screen has won several awards including a BAFTA and is based on over 8 years of innovation and experience going back to BBC One’s Test The Nation. We love technology but we don’t just talk tech. We talk the language of TV and work alongside TV development producers to weave the audience into formats or create entirely new ones.

Alongside broadcasters and agencies we’re developing a string of new revenue-generating 2-Screen tools for brands including customer acquisition, lead generation, advertising and analytics.

With real, tangible experience and proven technology we’re leading the way and proud to be one of the most innovative companies in UK television.

Established in 2003, we have offices in London and Minsk, and a new USA base coming in early 2012. Monterosa is privately-owned by the founders.
